What this service is
FlightDelayHQ is an independent comparison site and information service. We publish what the air passenger rules themselves say about delayed, cancelled and overbooked flights, quoted word for word with the URL and the date the page was read, and on request we reply to questions with the same quotations. We are not lawyers or advisers, we are not a claims-management company, we do not run claims, and we are not affiliated with any airline or regulator.
How we are paid
No airline and no claims company can pay us to change a quotation, an absence or the order of anything on this site. One commercial relationship exists and it is disclosed wherever it appears: where a reader chooses to hand their claim to AirHelp through a link here, AirHelp pays us a commission of 15% of its own fee on a successful claim and 20% on an AirHelp+ membership. Those links are marked as paid. They are never the first option offered: claiming direct with the airline costs nothing, the ADR and regulator routes after it cost nothing, and every page that carries a paid link says so above it.
Using the entitlement index
The FlightDelayHQ Air Passenger Entitlement Index is free to reuse with citation. Quote a rule with the jurisdiction, the instrument, the date shown and a link back to the page you took it from, and quote the instrument's own sentence rather than our arrangement of it. The quotations themselves belong to the bodies that published them and are reproduced here for reporting and comment.
No warranty
Every quotation is taken from an official page on the date shown and is proven a byte-exact substring of the text read that day. Instruments are amended and pages move; a rule can change between the read date and yours. Nothing here is legal advice and nothing here decides your claim, which is between you and the airline.
